Some designs are about looking back — not to stay there, but to make sure we never forget the road that brought us here.

The Trail of Tears is one of the hardest chapters in Indigenous history: thousands of Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminole people forced from their homelands, walking hundreds of miles through suffering most of us can barely imagine. From my own Indigenous roots, I feel the weight of that history — and the incredible strength of the ancestors who survived it.

These sneakers are a remembrance. Every step in them is a quiet act of honour: for the ones who walked that road, for the cultures that refused to disappear, for the generations that carried the stories forward so we would know.

Wear them with respect, and let them start the conversations that matter most.
