In many Indigenous cultures across Turtle Island, Two-Spirit people have always held a sacred and honoured place — gifted with the ability to carry both the masculine and feminine spirit, to see from both sides, to walk between worlds with a perspective that is rare and powerful. Long before colonization tried to erase them, Two-Spirit individuals were healers, visionaries, and keepers of balance in their communities.

The phoenix rises from fire — not despite the burning, but because of it. For Two-Spirit people who have survived the erasure, the shame, the violence of a world that didn't understand them, the rising is not just survival. It is reclamation. It is the return of something sacred that was never truly gone — only waiting for the world to be ready to receive it again.
